Average duration
of proceedings

The average duration of proceedings is calculated as the arithmetical average of the duration of all proceedings (from receipt to resolution).

Receipt is the date on which the first pleading of a party (e.g. actions, applications for land registry, applications for enforcement, requests for investigation, indictments, complaints, etc.) is received by the court. Cases are generally considered to be resolved when the final decision is submitted (dispatched) to the parties.
